TOOTH WHITENING

Even if the individual shows exemplary oral
hygiene, the teeth end up becoming yellow over
time. This happens for several reasons, among
them, smoking. Tooth whitening is a solution to
rescue the lighter color of the teeth, leaving the
smile even more beautiful.
Dental whitening is a process in which the dentist assists in removing stains and corrects discoloration of the teeth. The procedure can be done in several ways, and it is up to the specialized professional to indicate the best bleaching process.

Conventional whitening (gel)

Conventional whitening, known as home whitening, is one of the most common ways to do tooth whitening, offering, among other advantages, the possibility of whitening in the comfort of home.

In the procedure, the Dental Surgeon performs a impression of the patient, sending this impression to the laboratory, to make an acetate plate, which will adapt perfectly to the dental arch of the molded patient. With the aid of the acetate plate for the application of the product, the patient will use gels that contain oxygen in its formulation, materials that, in close contact with the dental structure, will promote the whitening of the dental elements, in a process known as oxidation . The patient will use the plate, with the whitening gel, at home, during the period determined by the dentist.
Office Whitening (professional)

In this procedure, the dentist isolates the teeth to protect the gums and applies an oxidizing paste - with a much more concentrated composition than the gel used in home treatment - which receives a beam of light and causes a chemical reaction that allows teeth whitening by oxidation. It is a procedure done only in dental clinics and by specialized professionals.

Mixed Whitening

It is a combination of the two techniques described previously. It is the one with the best results.
